Once you get a message that says, "you have successfully been registered for our upcoming sale", click Continue.
Step 2: Sign Up for Shifts
(Helps increase take home percentage)
Sign up for your volunteer shifts and check-in. Check-in is when you drop off your items for the sale, you are "checking in your inventory".
Step 3: Enter and Print SMALL Tags
Print tags on WHITE paper. Using card stock is optional but NOT REQUIRED (you may find cardstock holds up better on clothing when using a tagging gun).
NOTE: TAGS WILL PRINT VERY LARGE!
TO PRINT SMALLER TAGS FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS
1. WHEN VIEWING YOUR TAGS, CLICK ON FILE IN TOP LEFT CORNER OF THE PAGE.
2. THEN CLICK ON PRINT
3. NOW LOOK FOR A BOX WHERE THERE IS AN AREA OR BOX TO PICK PAGES PER SHEET, (usually in the middle of the screen)
4. CLICK ON THE DROP DOWN SO YOU CAN SEE AND CHOOSE 2 PAGES PER SHEET.
5. MAKE SURE YOU HIT THE "OK" BUTTON
HIT THE PRINT BUTTON, YOU SHOULD HAVE 12 TAGS PER SHEET, and please NO SMALLER, we will not accept 18 or 24 tags per sheet.
It is VERY IMPORTANT to make sure your printer does not blur the bar code, IN THE EVENT YOU HAVE UNSCANNABLE TAGS YOU WILL BE WARNED, AND THEN FINED. It is your responsibility to have scannable tags. If the ink is smeared or blurry we cannot scan and it holds up the line. Thank you for your help in this matter.
Step 4: Tagging Items
Safety-pin tags to clothes (or use a tagging gun). No staples or straight pins. Consigner number on the tag must be visible.
Affix tags to clothing on the neckline on the back side of the garment, NOT THE INSIDE! Example: Picture the name of your child on their back, we want to see the tag. By affexing to the back of the neckline or waistband, we can scan without having to dig to the inside of the garment! DO NOT affix tags on the FRONT of ANY ITEM.
Affix tags to non-clothing items ON THE BACK or underside of the item. Please do not block any essential parts.
Securely tape tags to any items that cannot be pinned with clear packing tape. NO SCOTCH TAPE, AND NO PAINTERS TAPE ACCEPTED. Make sure tags are as flat as possible to make them easier to scan.
Step 5: Drop Off Your Items
When you sign up, you will be asked to select a drop off time. Allow yourself plenty of time to put all of your items in the appropriate location within the store. Clothing must be on hangers. Items grouped by size will save you time when you drop off. All areas will be marked for easy distribution. A final set up will be done by volunteers.
Step 6: Increase Your Percentage
As a consignor, you can easily earn 75% of your items' sales. When you volunteer to help at the sales, you increase what you make.
50% - Working NO SHIFTS
60% - Work one 3 hour shift
70% - Work two 3 hour shifts
80% - Work three 3 hour shifts
Unlimited Items - Work four 3 hour shifts
Step 7: Picking Up Leftover Items?
After the sale, you have the option to pick up (at the designated time) or donate your items.
Step 8: Getting Paid
Pay out is mailed within 10 days of close of the sale.
Step 9: Help Spread the Word!
For any consignor that names you on the "Referred By" line when registering, and registers a minimum of 50 items, you get a $5.00 Referral Fee paid with your consignment check...so spread the word!
Unless it is a pair of pants, you DO NOT need to pin a garment to a hanger. We have had several consignors pin items to a hanger unnecessarly, which holds up the line at check out. We keep the hangers for the consignors to pick up after the event. This is a benefit to you, so please help us help you by eliminating unnecessary pinning.
